Monday 28th of March: What a great weekend of weather and waves. Sunny, waist high, offshore on Saturday, and more of the same Sunday with swell a little bigger. Today its sunny with a light offshore and a small wave but change is in the air. The high pressure that's been giving us this fine settled weather is giving way and this will allow large low pressures to come across the Atlantic in on top of us.

Throughout the week we'll have a building westerly swell that will get into the medium to large range later in the week. The wind will start to pick up and swing around onshore from mid week onwards and will be strong towards the weekend which will result in blown out conditions towards the weekend.

Check back in later in the week for an update.

Wednesday Update: After days of clean, offshore conditions, the surf today is onshore knee to waist high. The high pressure we had been enjoying  has given way and we are now looking at a series of low pressure systems that will cross in over us over the next week. This will mean plenty of swell but also plenty of wind, predominately onshore, and so messing up conditions. The forecast is complicated and the key is to keep an eye on local weather forecasts to try and get out in a lull in the wind. Check in later in the week for the weekend update.
